Tips to Consider When Choosing Companies that Ship Sweets to APO/FPO Addresses
- There are many more companies not on this list that will ship to APO/FPO addresses with domestic shipping charges. Because those shipping charges can add significant cost, I didn't include them in this resource guide.
- I DO include a few companies that offer regional specialties that would definitely help send a piece of home. Be sure to read below about My Grandma's of New England, O & H Danish Bakery, Paul's Bakery, and River Street Sweets.
- Just because a company will ship APO/FPO doesn't mean it's a good idea. Use common sense to determine if a product can travel without spoiling.
- Do NOT ship anything that requires refrigeration, such as cheesecakes, cream cheese frosting, or quiche. Even if packaged frozen with cooling packs, these items are unlikely to make the long trip to an APO/FPO address without spoiling.
- Online ordering forms are sometime not military address friendly. Use the company phone number to ensure your address in entered properly.
- Some coupon codes are listed here and I will update them when possible. However, I recommend that before making an online order, you do a Google search for promo codes for that company to see if any better offers are currently available.
